University Education Quality Assurance System

The Education Quality Policy of the University of Agriculture in Krakow, introduced by the Rector's Decree no. 168/2021 of 27 October 2021, has been in force since 27 October 2021.

The Dean supervises the implementation and improvement of the University Education Quality Assurance System at the Faculty of Engineering and Environment and Land Surveying.

Tasks of the Dean's Committee for Education Quality

  1. Analysis of the compatibility of the assumed learning outcomes described in the study programs with the Polish Qualifications Framework for higher education;
  2. Analysis of the methods and forms of learning, the ways in which learning outcomes are verified, the extent to which students achieve learning outcomes and the reasons for any failures;
  3. Analysis of the results of the students' assessment of the teaching process;
  4. Analysis of the alignment of the learning outcomes acquired in the learning process with: the academic activity in given disciplines, progress in the areas of professional activity and the labour market needs;
  5. Monitoring the correct application of ECTS credits;
  6. Monitoring the quality of diploma theses and the graduation process;
  7. Analysis of data on the careers of graduates in the various courses of study;
  8. Assessment of the educational infrastructure and resources used in the educational process;
  9. Development of annual faculty quality self-assessment reports, with an indication of possible corrective, preventive and improvement measures in terms of:
    educational process methods at the faculty, including the organisation and conditions of teaching, study programms, methods and forms of study and ways of verifying the learning outcomes achieved by students and course participants,
    • modernisation and development of new study programs,
    • student mobility,
    • the competences of the teaching staff and administrative staff related to the educational process at the faculty,
    • the quality of the administrative service of the faculty's educational process;
  10. Developing, updating and improving its own education quality procedures adapted to and resulting from the specific nature of the courses of study provided at the faculty;
  11. Carrying out other tasks commissioned by the Dean and the Rector's Committee for Education Quality, carrying out other tasks commissioned by the Rector's Committee for Education Quality and the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Land Surveying.
