Research and Science - Reference Station

Reference station - KRUR (GNSS)

The KRUR reference station was launched on November 1, 2009 at the Department of Geodesy, University of Agriculture. Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow. The station is located in the building of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy at ul. Balicka 253C. The antenna for receiving GNSS satellite signals, in order to obtain maximum stability, was installed on a specially built observation pillar. Currently, the station is implemented as a stand-alone station, but is ultimately provided for in the base station network system.

Station elements:
  • Antenna - Zephyr Geodetic
  • GNSS Receiver - NETR5 Trimble
  • Radio modem - ADL Vantage Pacific Crest
  • Local server - PC workstation

The station coordinates have been determined in relation to EPN stations - currently these are test coordinates that will probably be corrected.
